ok i had a quick search and didnt find anything. ok a while back there was a guy asking questions about how realistic pr is.
so i came up with this idea. to install a idea of fear when you being shot at. you have a kill counter or somin along those line. it is different to the ticket system becuase this is how many times your team has left to resqwan*cant spell it *. medic can revive you and that does go toward to life counter.
if you dont understand i will rephrase it. if it is hardcoded you can lock

Rephrase it... Didn't really understand you... What is it you want? Replace ticket count with death? But that doesn't seem logical... Since dying already takes tickets...

ok i know that the ticket system includes death, but it takes everything into account ie tanks, planes, choppers. while this one is about the amount of times you can come back.
ie. you have 100 life points to begin with. your dquad of 6 dies. that is 6 points off.
now this is where medics come into it. those 6 are dead , a medic comes and revives them they get plus 1 lifepoints

ahh I see. Thats an interesting system.

but would it actually mean anything to get less than 0 points? maybe prevent that squad from requesting kits? though that might be circumventable by joining a new squad...

Hm... That's actually not realy needed... Since the ticket system incorporates this to some extent. Becaues if you loose all the life points the game is over... If you mean that every person get's his seperate points well it's still the same, just that all players get their "GAME OVER" at different times and it still basicaly leads to everyone loosing the tickets faster since they'd loose players fast.

Even if this is possible I think this isn't really good for gameplay... Right now you already save tickets by getting revived by a medic.

The medic can't revive dead soldiers. He can only revive people that are in the wounded status. Only a dead person cost a ticket.
It's already like your suggestion.

yeh but you know that you have to click give up then your counted as dead. that would knock off 1 point. btw wat does the ticket system take into account. cos it seems that you can just come back and it will make little different to your ticket cost. also this would force players to play more as a team

What you are suggesting is basicaly in the game.

When you die: if you give up the team looses tickets. The more you give up (or get shot to death) the more tickets you loose and eventualy your team looses.

What you are suggesting is the same: players die and loose a "respawns points" and afterwards cannot respawn (if i undersntad correctly) which means that at one point all players on one team loose all their points and are unable to respawn which makes the team loose. No imagine having to hunt down that last player with the 20 spawns left He'd just sit in his good old uncapable base safe from any harm annoying the hell out of everyone.

From what I can understand in his post we already do thinks like he wants us to do.

Tickets are only reduced for the team when the person really dies. When he is incapacitated and "revived" by a medic the ticket is never taken away at all.
