I don't think that this is possible unfortunately, gut feeling but I think that all players on the server have to be worth the same number of tickets when they die, and you wouldn't be able to change that on the fly by picking up a kit in-game.

So a attack chopper like the cobra...
20 for each pilot and 10 for the cobra... 50 tickets? no chance. Also if people leave the server because they didnt get a chopper or jet, they will have a pilot kit and it will count as a death meaning massive ticket loss. |

I think it was suggested before... Crashlanding isn't too difficult.. Did a number of those in a training server. It's staying active that's more difficult. If there could be a workaround so that disconnects wouldn't loose all those tickets then yah.. Go for it.
For egzample making them worth all those tickets AFTER entering the vechicle. If that's possible... |

I think its a good idea EXCEPT ... there are some down flaws. such as noobs runing round with pilot kits and jumping off roofs or getting shot . AND if the pilot knew he was going to be worth X amount of tickets he would jump out and hit the ground before a missle or a technical blow them up. instead of trying to save the craft

The helicopter should be 5 tickets if desroyed and the pilot should be 40 so there would be more skilled pilots flying and more people would see more importance for the pilot if he dies with 40 tickets.

IMHO the best way would be for the cost to be 50/50. 10 for the chopper/plane 10 for the pilot as IRL a pilot is a valuable asset, the military spends a VAST sum of money to train him and it takes a long time.
