How about knifes? If you have a parachute you need a knife to cut messed ropes (in reality its a landing in forest). Or you can cut messed enemies

Hehe think about giving the enemy a surprise when they stop by the bunker restroom in kashan desert

When you see a house land on somebody and they're still kicking, you know something is wrong

If the kit could be requested at any place on the map thats sufficiently far from enemy troops (incase the vehicle explodes, and you parachute down a few hundred metres away. If you land close enough for an enemy squad to catch you, no fighting back), but only by someone with a pilot kit already (if you dont already have a pilot kit, you dont need this kit) and who was the last pilot (or gunner) in a heli/jet & had been in no other vehicle after that one (if someone else had been the last, the heli probably survived and you dont need the kit, and no piloting for a bit, then paratrooping), and also had piloted it for at least 2 min (so no hopping in and straight out again to get the kit), and so long as only 1 could be requested per heli/jet spawn point, then it might work. Remove the parachute from it and you stand even more of a chance of it working.

The problems only start when people can request the kit without any real proof of needing it (running out of ammo is not a good reason), and when it has a parachute. If these 2 problems are removed, then I would not have a problem with it.

I would like to see it being the only knife-free kit, too. The gun should be used for self defence, if you waste ammo on offence you deserve to be caught.

XKCD forums, in the middle of a perfectly sane conversation:
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Best post ever made!

EG: PPSh is made of win and quite possibly stamped sheet metal

If knife is not OK, can devs create a firearm (probably pistol) with a horrible deviation and reduced damage representing lack of shooting experience and stressful situation of a crash-landed pilot?

basically this is a resugestion which i've already made.. i already suggested seperating the aircraft pilots from the chopper pilots and suggested a very good way of dealing with all this..

but basically the answer was final. no. taking away the pistols solved the problem and it doesnt look like their coming back for some time

Heres my idea, make the aircraft kit in two pieces, Fixed wing, and rotor kits. The survivability of a helicopter pilot is much higher, say he makes a hard landing, and survives, as I've heard, most Army pilots carry a M4, with a 2 or 3 magazines, but a parachute? Ok, Apache pilot engine's fail, opens cockpit doors, gets out, launches parachute, but NO! Its gets torn up by the rotors and you fall to a undignified death. I've made a few crash landings and lived in the blackhawk and made it back to base (Cept this one time when the tunguskas were camping our main and he ran me over). Its known that Navy and possibly Marine pilots carry the M9, Not sure bout Airforce pilots though, but they all carry a parachute. The fact that people may be acting as paratroopers is the Server Admin's responsibility to take care of.

im pretty sure in real life theres a way to eject out of those choopers not just open the cockpit and get shredded up..

before anything in pr they have to add crash animations of some sort and more chances of crashlanding and making it alive so then for transport choppers the pilots could be given a pistol or somethin

I think it would work to make 1 kit for fixed wing and 1 for choppers, like Drunkenup said. The first would be unamred but have a parachute, while the chopper one would have an M9 instead. It really sucks being stranded in the middle of Karbala/Mutra etc. with NO chance of deffending yourself what so ever And i really dont see how this system can be abused...

Armadillo - damn good Afganistan movie. Watch it here!

how about this:
every kit requested from helis will have a parachute this would mean you can have a PARA squad but how about you can only have 2 para kits of the same type for each team?
not sure if its possible but it helps and is realistic

ioh and some helis not sure about all have rotors that come off when needed so you can eject in the forum of a button
