Default Commander UAV Modification

With the new patch, the Commander UAV is cool and all, but right now it's really useless. You can fly around and spot things, but its almost impossible to tell who's who below when spotting infantry. Also, when you go to place markers, you have to open up the map, which doesn't help since you're not exactly sure where you're looking with the UAV. On any city map being off by only 30-50 meters means several buildings difference.
-My first suggestion would be to add another level of zoom to the UAV, like 2-4x. All US UAV's have at least this level of detail in their camera. This will especially help in urban maps like Ejod or Muttrah.
-Second, and most importantly, give the commander the ability to place spotted markers directly from the UAV's viewscreen.

You just need to know the map I find. Though going over Kashan desert even seemed really alien to me whilst fooling around in training, though probably because the FOV isn't wide enough to see anything but pure desert most of the time.

I'm 99.9% sure that adding zoom is impossible with TV missiles.

I'm not sure if that would be possible with the Q-/T- rose, but I do hope it is. It would also allow for "lazing" targets, but of course it would be limited to lazing a the dead center of the screen, and not where the cursor is

Lazing is firing a projectile (one that sticks and has a lockon box, that is), and since the UAV is a missile and missiles can't fire missiles, that's a no too.

Though placing markers like the APC/Helicopter extract is also spawning a "projectile" vehicle. I'm not sure if it would be possible to alter the commo rose to accomodate that effectively if at all for the commander, but it's worth looking into.

-If you want to know where the UAV is just use your 'Q' comm. rose, left click 'Contact' and a question mark will show up exactly where the UAV is, which carries over to the CO map so you can easily place markers. You can also zoom in on your minimap but then there'll be some guesstimation regarding the exact spot, especially on big maps.

When flying the UAV, zoom your minimap in as much as you can, since the minimap moves with the UAV, it's a good idea of where exactly you are on that part of the map.
