Heh, why not just replace one of the Hueys with a Huey Gunship?
Simple, yet effective, and still retains the Huey on Archer

Apaches on a USMC map?
Even if i did like an attack helo on that map (which I don't), it would still be odd.

like bradley's on fallujah ? ever heard of mutual support ? US army support USMC just like US army support german/british/dutch etc etc

you could bang a US chopper on a norwegian map and it still be realistic.

If it was added, for the current faction(USMC) it would be a Super Cobra, for the canucks, I dont know, maybe we will see some Apache's, but either way, I don't think it's gonna happen.

map is TOOO SMALL

Why do you think they removed apache from Karbala?

That map, as far as im concerned is fine as it is. Love playing it every time.

Technicals are annoying, but you do have HMVes to counteract that and LATs and HATs.

And bullets. Technicals are easy to take down as the gunner is ridiculously exposed.

An apache on Archer could be cool. Maybe someone should do an audit and trial it out for a while to see how it affects the gameplay?

I think it is a pity it was removed from Karbala. I dont see a problem with the map being small, Irl they call in air support engaging an enemy unit, so the actually attack zone for the apache is rather small, what would be lost in game would be the long approach but thats true for all units.

Thats right, Canadians dont get aircover and they have to pay their own ammo too . If it isnt a Canadian Apache shooting up insurgents irl, it would be an American, or some other Coalition aircraft. A bunch of coalition forces didnt deploy their own CAS and cooperate with US CAS. I dont think the wrong flag on the pilots shoulder would be that big of an issue.
Yes, it is an open map, but that works both ways, there are many areas from which the Apache gets locked by AA or under fire by technicals.
I just think its the perfect map for it, it would also make sense to give aircover to squads who are waaay out on such a big map away from supplies, + I am gonna eat puppies and vote Berlusconi into power again if you dont.

large attack aircraft are going to be reserved for 4km maps (yes Muttrah City is an exception).

Thankfully we got alot of 4km maps under developement atm
