Thumbs up US new spawneble class

I was thinking of a way that insugency game mode could be alot more exciting by putting a civillian informat that was a class on the US side.

Your only able to have it 1 person on the us team. He is basiccly on the US team as he can get in vechicles to be passenger. But the only thing is he looks like a civillian so insurgents would think hes just normal civillian. He also has know clue on where caches as he does not have the same map as the insurgents. His main role is to report on what is goiing on in the area and finding caches. He is also not aloud go into places where US go. There is a large spawn time when he gets killed as the class is very valuable.

Couldn't really be spawnable if there is one per team and im sorta failing to see the point. The guy has no access to the enemy caches, so basically he is just a random guy wandering around doing nothing with a massive respawn if someone decides to shoot him (which they inevitably would). Theres just no point to it.

Really can't see this being put in.

There have been suggestions in the past about having an informant with the NATO factions. You've put a slightly new twist on it though, I think.

It can be limited and Spawnable Jiggy, look at how the new Medic kit works. The only difference is that it's limited 1 per team, not per Squad. I assume it can be done.

The point is that you're a civillian so you wouldn't need access to a cashe, just trying to find them as much as the Bue-for. You'd have to be very carefull not to give yourself away though. In time, I guess, everyone would be used to this and be much quicker to look for friendlies (as an insurgent).

Not a bad idea.

well, if an enemy looks long enough at him, they see the red name over his head, gotta hope that doesnt happen i guess.
also, he would have to be able to read enemy chat and his chat would have to be blue to the enemies. otherwise they would make him out as an informant the instant he didnt respond and if they weren't sure he was, they would shoot him just in case.
could be fun though if it was worked out. i guess he could follow insurgents around and pretend to be a collaborator, so you can give him the same kit.

it could work....

it would be interesting. But it should be a limited kit, 2 on the team.

I can see the point of this, but i think it would become one of those kits that no-one would use. As the post below says you would have to be careful not to shoot your own informant. Plus the name tag would give it away a bit, unless they are removed all together.
But the fun of insurgency mode is cache hunting, even if the informant does not know cache locations it would be far to easy to locate them and tell the awaiting team which already have a significant advantage in terms of armor, air assets and weapons.

He's talking about for the US side, not the Insurgent.
And I had an idea like this one, same as a civilian but on the Coalition side.
If it got put in I think it'd work pretty well, the Coalition forces would have to be more careful to make sure they diddn't shoot one of their teams civilians, and the insurgent civilians would have to worry about being shot less because of that care.

It'd be something that could work both ways, if the 2 kits looked the same, an insurgent civilian would be able to report where Coalition forces were, and Coalition civilians where insurtent forces were, and if they were careful enough not to get caught, where the caches were. But they'd have to be smart to not get caught.

I think it'd work well, but thoughts are only thoughts.
