Arrow Apache and Cobra Gun Sounds

okay so i got the .86 patch installed anxious to see what things you've changed and yeah i read the changelog and noticed you changed the apache/cobra cannon sounds, i was like sweet i wonder how its gonna sound. as soon as i joined a training round, i picked up a pilot kit and hopped in an apache, i know i need another pilot but i was still able to fire the cannon.

i was extremely dissapointed. like no joke, where and what have you guys been using as a reference for the sound??? it sounds like a high powered airsoft gun i mean cmon now.... the sounds before the patch were better.. what happened??

Some of the sounds and animations are EXTREAMLY Exagerated.. the animations for reloading were fine for the rifled and LAT. Now.. it's like they hit the thing around to make it reload.. especially for the M4. Watch the reload.. he sticks the new mag inside, hits the side, hits a button, and same with the "startup" animation for the LAT.. it's like they have a small seizure and moves the scope back haha.

YT is the worst reference for audio samples.

YouTube - Project Reality .86 sound test

outlawz i know it is, but i cant just go in my backyard and fire up an apache. but anyways thats the video of the correct sounds.

and also outlawz i hope you watch the video and think about which sounds more realistic, mine or PR's....

and im not dogging on PR i love it im just saying that some sounds are weak.

HAT animations were unchanged since 0.8..

But damn, I've never seen someone so passionate about apache/cobra cannon sounds before..

Wait im confused are you saying the cobra cannon sound should be same as apache? Ignoring the fact they are completley different weapons or have i just got the wrong end of the stick here?

well you DEVS are trying to make a mod thats based off reality and one of those things that make it closer to reality is good sounds yo.

and yeah cheditor i know the cobra has a 25mm cannon and apache has 30mm thats why i said in my original post the cobra would be a little different, the ones in the video are for the apache i just put the sounds on the cobra for testing. but you get the picture.

Actually could you post the source material you made the sound from? I'm curious as to where it originally came from.

Well the apache has a much slower rate of fire and is a much more lower pitch afaik.
