yeah but with all the ambient cockpit noises, rotor blades, radio chatter, mechanics, whatever, i think the sounds should come from a gun cam

I trust that the Devs have changed the sound for a reason. the PR team includes military advisors, of whom I'm sure have heard a Cobra or Apache cannon fire. I'm sorry if I take their word over someone who gets their information from YouTube videos.

I would say it could be better (everything always can) but the current PR one is the best I have heard to date imo.
