voip is nto an issue, we could always make mumble work with any game
theo ther points are needed, as well as a good editor (not the BF2 Editor rubbish crash program) little hardcodedness, good playerbase, easy to mod (somethings in Bf2 are actually easy to mod, like player models, i listen to many MODDB podcasts  ), and realistic physix.
