I learned (and am still learning) here:
C++ Language Tutorial

After that, try OpenGL, or GTK+.

XKCD forums, in the middle of a perfectly sane conversation:
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Best post ever made!

EG: PPSh is made of win and quite possibly stamped sheet metal

If you want to learn/code C++ this app will be usefull for you: The Dev-C++ Resource Site

Its a simple C++ editor (very simular to notepad, just easier for C++ coding

I agree with intergrating a TS and Vent option for the final version... That would be really nifty.

Perhaps conjoin them all into a Communications tab.

Then for all other programs maybe include a tab that allows you to specify your own shortcuts, like if people want to add a fraps button to their launcher, xfire etc. A simple text field where you can enter the target of a shortcut and specify the new buttons name.

Now that would be neat :]

And of course don't forget the 1337h4x tab unlockable once you get 50 sniper headshots.

This thread has given me a lot of new ideas for our FS launcher, think I will head over to FS IRC right now.

Well I probably wont be able to just 'do' a launcher. It may take some time, being the biggest project I have ever undertaken.

Coding generally goes crap until you are more familiar with it. You start being able to feel your way through it, and just knowing what to use for some situations, after a while.

EDIT:
How far through the tut are you?

Any chance of you writing a parsing function to take a null-terminated string of text of the format <string1>=<int1>, and returning <string1> and <int1>?

I understand half of that, stringsd is non numerical text ( hello world is an example). Parsing functions I got to, is not stuck in my head, and a null termianting strin of text = do want in my brain.

Im just going through the tuts, making small programs, simple calculator programs.
