I think it would be best to give him a carbine, IMO. It takes about 8-12 rounds with the mp5 (if I'm not mistaken) to kill someone in body shots.. plus with reduced accuracy, increased recoil, less damage, etc.

This ammunition is unique among submachine guns in that the bullet is made almost entirely of a hardened steel penetrator instead of softer brass or lead. The ammunition is virtually exclusive to the gun (save for the H&K UCP and a planned variant of the Brügger & Thomet MP-9) and also offers low recoil.

I dont know if it would be a good idea to put a scope on it, but I dont think recoil is the problem, as the gun doesnt have much.

Also remember, even though its a SMG, it doesnt fire pistol rounds (like the MP5 for example) but 4.6x30mm rounds, giving it nearly as much stopping power as an assault rifle.
