I'm pretty sure its low on the list of things to do. But I've been always for removing it, but show it at the end. But I understand the positives behind it. I often too at score when joining a squad.

I think the kill counter is fine where it is at now, with the delayed response. I mean, the obvious side-effect of it is going to be the mentality of "killkillkillkillkilllreloadkillkillkillkillteabag killkill," but I honestly do not think it is a problem right now. It might encourage the rambo scenario, but there are enough downsides to dying to keep this from being an issue.

Plus, there are occasions like "Ohh, I wonder how many people were in that helicopter I shot down" or "Dude, intense firefight. Lets see what happened to the squad's kill-death ratio." It is a game, this adds another small enjoyable element to it without having many negative repercussions (sp?)

If it is possible for the counter to update at five-minute intervals (using the round timer), I think that would be the best system.

It's fine now.

It really doesn't promote any type of game play. It's being used to blame certain types of game play, such as the sniper kit and SF. Kits, kill counter, and that stuff really don't have anything to do with it, players will play like that regardless.

Keep it the way it is, the DEVS could be working on something much more useful than this.

PR scoring is already heavily directed at teamwork, IMO it's not just about kills. On some servers there seems to be squads obsessed with firebases. The team should be attacking and they want to get their shovels out at every oppurtunity and just build firebases everywhere. That's my take on it anyway.
Anyone who cares that much about score on PR is a bellend, K/D ratios within each squad/vehicle team are the most important thing and you need the scoreboard to check progress.

Add another kill counter so we can see how many kills we have twice.

Also add a feature that makes fun of people when they have bad k/d ratios.

Better yet, just put a K/d ratio instead of showing kills and deaths. So you can just know what your ratio is.

That's a bad thing though, since the removal of the ticket counter the kill/death counter has effectively become a substitute for it. Obviously it's not entirely accurate for several reasons, but it still makes you a little too aware of how much your winning, something that you should need to judge based on what's happened in the game not something you can easily get off the scoreboard.

In a game I like the element of knowing if you're winning or losing though, however realistic, and a scoreboard is just the simple way to do that.

You know whether your winning and losing by your situation through the game though, if on qwai river the first things that happen in the first 10 minutes are that you get all flags up to government office while 2 squads are sneaking in on the next flag and both enemy tanks have been taken down while you still have both your TOW humvees up then you know your doing pretty well. Everything in that situation, despite it being reasonable clear your winning, you still don't have the comfort factor of having the numbers to back it up, something I think PR is better without.

Yeah but its just something that doesn´t affect anything. Some like looking at the scores, some don´t. Then they want them removed so that the people who like looking at them can´t look at them and so that they don´t have to too.
