When doing some searching and checking the Already Suggested Suggestions list, i didn't see anything about this, so i decided to go ahead and post my suggestion.
As it is now, you get spawned back at mainbase if you selected another squads rally point to spawn at. Even though you will know to be careful which RP to select if you've read the manual, there's still the occasion of a squad putting their RP right besides a firebase, making it quite a gamble trying to select the right dot (unless in that squad). Perhaps it would be better to give the player a notification that says you can't spawn on another squads RP's, like the notification you get when selecting the SL kit when not being a SL, or get a near infinite spawn time when selecting wrong RP, again, like when selecting SL kit when not being a SL. -Adriaan |

you default to your RP unless your squad doesnt not have one. it would be nice for when the RPs are near the FOBs, but that's it. RPs shouldnt be that close anyway.
if you cant seem to spawn on your own RP (which sometimes happens) just select another squad's RP and voila! you are at your RP. you only go to main base if your RP doesnt exist. |

Threedroogs, Tartantyco,
Yeah, i read in the manual that when you'r squad has a RP up and you select another squads RP for whatever reason, you spawn at you'r own squads RP. This has never happened to me though (afaik). And even if it would, the notification would come in handy if you'r squad doesn't have a RP and the situation i described in my suggestion occurs. |

Yeah, spawning on the other squads rally has always got me to our own rally where ever it is located since 0.6.
And perhaps devs could tweak the spawning system. You know that black fade in -effect you get when try to take the officer with 2 players / without being SL? Make same effect when you try to spawn on the wrong rally but don't prevent the actual spawn. Atleast it would reduce accidental mistakes |

Zi8,
That's exactly what i meant. I will check out the spawning back on you'r own rally (if up) when selecting another squads rally. Never noticed it .. Still, i think it would be good to implement some sort of warning (like the screen fading black like you said, and as when selecting the officer kit when not being officer). Deadfast, I can't really imagine it to be too hard to implement (/ impossible), but then again, i'm far from an expert concerning stuff like that. Besides, even though the Dev's are genious/1337h4x0rz |
