Default SVD Reticle

Just a suggestion for the SVD Reticle in PR. Instead of reusing the BF2 reticle, PR should use the actual SVD reticle with the range finder.

Thanks for such a great game!

The scope reticule is part of the gun in the bf2 engine, so someone would need to make a new SVD to have a different scope because your not allowed to edit EA/Dice models.

[R-DEV]masaq - It's rather difficult to "apprehend" a Tu-95... you try persuading a 200-ton aircraft to land somewhere it doesn't want to, when it has enough fuel to get home and it knows you can't/won't shoot it down

It's also been suggested before, but don't worry, pr is slowly but surely getting rid of bf 2 models and replacing them with their higher quality ones. This one will be replaced with it's proper reticule at some point.

The PSO-1 in BF2 is fucked up. Why would they make the reticle so goddamn thick? Impossible to make accurate shots at longer ranges.

Wouldn't a simple reskin take care of the reticle without having to replace the entire model, though?

The problem is that the reticule is modelled rather than a texture.
