Creepin, thats a good idea.
Also, mayby map markers could be voice triggered. Hold down button 'x' and say a command. This could be implemented in many ways.

If we use c4 engine then we could add it, its just cost, practability, effort and effectiness which decides it. Some modern ones are very good (like HAWX, played that game) Others are shockingly bad. If you get a 3rd party plugin, obviously for a good one it will cost some $$$$.

I used voice commands in endwar It was a nice feature but I didn't use it much
but in pr you can talk to your squad so why do you need voice command to place a marker when you can just tell you squad to shoot there

Look where everybody else is shooting, Shoot in the same direction.

how about crysis's own CryEngine 2..would be really cool seriously..like take some of ur time to go on moddb.com..and check out crysis mods and focus on 2 mods called Mech Warrior Living Legends (turning crysis into a battlemech game) or Light Spire (turning crysis into a fantasy RPG game)!!!..turning Crysis into a battlefield 2 kind of game with that kind of graphics and realism would be AWESOME!!

COme on dude .... now bf2 engine is sh**** u cant see anything from 500 metres and cant use camouflage because if u are on high settings u seeing grass and other sh*t but if some dude comes with everything LOW and starts see everyone thourgh grass

BattleField 3 engine would be 100x times better

BF3 engine may be better graphics side, but as BF2's modding capability is rubbish (compared to other engines) BF3 may have no modding or really bad modding capability.

If PR2 goes to the C4 engine, then the devs can do what they want due to them having the source code, and so view distances could be better.

Also how do you know it will be 100x better. If it will use frostbite engine, then there will most likely not be 64 players due to the amount of network traffic of that scale destructible enviroment.

Also you mentioned the probems of people on lowest gfx setting on BF2 seeing people in grass. Well in games you haev to cater for the lowest spec pc, and so things like this happen. When Rhinos new static filds are used this should limit this problem.

Modding BF3 is not the right direction

Read my post below yours to say why frostbite is not the best bet.

That level of destructability takes a huge straign on network traffic, thats why Bad Comp. is 16 players. It could hold 32, but 64 players + vehicles is expecting much.

Plus, I would rather play an indie than another mod (and so would the devs, they have stated) so lets keep our eyes on engines which dont cost a fortune
