Ok, so as the CH-47 is coming along nicely, and is fairly similar to the CH-46. Why not make the needed modifications to the 47, to make it look like the 46? you would be killing 3 birds with 1 gigantic boulder!
Bird 1= Littlebird, pain in the A$$, USMC doesn't use it IRL anyways. Bird 2= Replace the littlebird's spot with Huey (Take out a couple seats if Necessary) Bird 3= Please me and let the USMC have what they deserve, THE CH-46. The CH-46 is the USMC's primary transport helicopter anyways. The Huey is mainly used for Armed Reconnaissance, in Cobra+Huey teams. It wouldn't be that hard to create the 46 model would it? i mean just give it a smaller waist and smaller thighs right just imagine, Rollin into Muttrah with this thing eh? Or landing on 1 of those Mountains on archer? Or..or..or just looking awesome in every map! Now, armament options ===================================== -Mk19 or .50 cal on right door. (most often its a .50) -and a M240 on the rear ramp ===================================== And for perks? Since it has relatively the same case of the Chinook (Engine limits to 8 seats when the aircraft is capable of MUCH MUCH more) So in the Chinook's case, i believe the conclusion is it drops 2 crates? right and I'm hearing discussion of mobile spawn but i doubt it. So, maybe give the Phrog (CH-46) 2 crates or 1337 PWnZorz HaXzRZ fA$t&opes!( im sorry i had to)But seriously, if its not too much to ask? Thanks, Eagle. |

well that's what I was thinking. It would be wonderful for the USMC to have this, but I don't know if converting it is as easy as you say, and I don't know if the helicopter is used in the way you described. I'm sure it is, but overall, i like the idea IF it is not a lot of work.

How many times am I going to have to say this. The Chinook and the Sea Knight are NOT COMPARABLE!!!!!!!!! They share a tandem rotor design, that's it. The modifications to make the Chinook into a Sea Knight would be so drastic, you might as well make the model from scrap. |

Tirak is right. you only need to check out the specifications to see this.
I'd still love to see the Sea Knight in game, with the Littlebird only for the US Army. |
