AT Class under powered!

frag grenade does not make it anti infantry. AP peirces the tanks armor, and the fragmentations kill the crew.

I thought the molten copper, or whatever the warhead of the rocket is made of, kills the crew

Giving them a PDW (MP5 PDW??) instead of a pistol would stop ppl using the SRAW against infantry .

I wouldn't mind seeing them with a pdw with only one clip of ammo. After all, isn't it a PERSONAL DEFENSE WEOPON?

I'd say one spare mag is at least is good, two preferably. Sure, it's for defense, but it's much better being safe then sorry.

Does anyone know if our millitaries are giving PDW's to dedicated AT guys?

EMD Phase I (Risk Reduction) was completed in March 1998, and was followed by Phase II (System Evaluation). In January 2002, Lockheed Martin was awarded the first LRIP (Low-Rate Initial Production) contract for Predator, followed by a second one in January 2003. During EMD, a total of about 230 Predator missiles were built, and the two LRIP contracts cover the production of 730 rounds. SRAW was to be a low-cost complement to the larger and more sophisticated FGM-148 Javelin anti-armour missile, but further procurement after LRIP has been cancelled in 2003. In 2004, Lockheed Martin received a contract to refit all remaining Predators to SRAW-MPV (Multi-Purpose Variant) configuration with a new multi-purpose blast-fragmentation warhead. This will convert the missile from an anti-armour to a direct-fire urban assault weapon, which better fulfills the needs of the USMC.

So, is the SRAW still in service as an AT weapon? Just how good is it at this role? Are we using the SRAW in game, or is it's model just a place holder for something larger?

Right now it's a place-holder since it's not the weapon of a dedicated anti-armor specialist, but a single-shot, disposable weapon intended for issue to a few riflemen in each squad.

This is confusing. What I'm reading about the "SRAW" says that its a fire-and-forget that's for pegging tanks top-down and then there's also one for urban combat called the "SRAW-MPV" that's also fire-and-forget, but in BF2 it's just called "SRAW" and is guided on a wire like a TOW...???
