To which I respond, Mr. Wolfe, your pointless quoting of a movie has brought about no reasonable nor thought out rebuttal of the opinions Soldier has brought forward in a concise and easy to follow manner. By relying merely on sarcastic wit stolen from Whaa Wah, you have proven to be unimaginative, and far less witty than you would like to appear. It is with rolled eyes that I turn part of the quote back on you by saying, "I award you no points, and my God have mercy on your soul."

Onto the matter at hand; We have achieved an impasse on this subject, the "Anti Scope" argument claims Medics will become Lone Wolf kits as they will have access to an infinite amount of health, this point has a great deal of merit, however the "Pro Scope" people claim that lack of heavy offensive firepower, or truly, and firepower beyond the standard rifle will ensure this kit, while useful, will not go beyond its intended role, this point also has much merit to it. Seeing how both sides have equally valid points, I believe it is time for this topic to come to an end, all relevant opinions on the topic have been posted and to write any more will degenerate into more of what my earlier paragraph decried. To this end, I believe it would be best for this topic to become locked, this is of course my opinion and thus carries little if any weight on the matter.

Have to agree with Tirak here (especially on what he had to say about Wolfes comment). The discussion is becoming very circular now, it should be left for the devs consideration.

Yea I agree. Wish there was DEV feedback on this topic, so maybe we can try this out ingame so that we can prove it isn't abused. It would have to be over the course of 2-3 days though with the first day letting people get used to it first and the other 2 to get an idea of how general gameplay will be.

Well I'f I'm correct, in the beginning of this topic there were a couple of Dev's which said that they didn't like it due to players being hardcoded.

No, I meant about the medic scope, not about the changes you suggested. The mod who said that your suggestion wouldn't work because players are hardcoded. I suggested giving medics a scope and I have yet to hear feedback on that or a reasonable reason for why it would be abused.

You're right. But there are tons of other games where people play like that, maybe they shouldn't play PR then. Most of us play it because we like to play as teams. Being a teamplayer isn't hard. If they knew how much they can ruin a game for others, they wouldn't play like that.
But yeah, it is only a video game.

Agree that not additional measures should be taken. Plenty has been done to encourage gameplay, 90% seem to be sticking with it, adding further measures wont help.

The surpression effect is pure genius imo, finally you can actually put down surpressing fire witht the weapons that are designed for it, except for the fact that surpression is affected by the quality of the machine.
