Default Additional shout for Medic

Hi guys, im not sure if this is already in demand.

Is it possible to add an yell on the second mouse button for the medic on the shock padles and medic bag ??

Whene selecting the padles hit Q+1st mouse he yell "CLEAR", for me as a medic i didn't use this, maybe you should rather put "Follow me" on the first mouse and something like "Go cover" on the second one. Also for the medic bag useing "Go cover" on the second mouse would be great. It should also be displayed on the screen like the "sorry" yell, for the info in the heat.

Whene i going to revive one i have to put out my gun for yelling "follow me" instat of the medic bag or still the padles (multiple revives).

thnx for reading

I use "clear" and "get first aid" all the time . Shouting clear before reviving (just sounds good, lol) and then "follow me", then patch the guy up and shout "clear" again, to let him know he's all fixed again .

I'm really surprised that the SP's are still in the game. I would prefer a "ticket save" alternative of some kind.

It's about gameplay, I recon. Imagine playing without the shock paddles... The majority of the players probably won't like that . I agree with you probably thinking it isn't realistic, but... wouldn't like to play without it, unless there's an acceptable alternative.

Well, I had suggested something you "use", but instead of reviving them, it just saves the ticket. Similar to the Firearms mod way of doing things back in the day.

do this and 95% of the medics will disappear, I know I would never touch the medic kit again. When I play medic there is one simple reason for it, keeping my squad mates alive. That's it. All this reviving/healing other blue dudes, saving tickets, healing yourself etc is just a bonus.

Also thinking about this from a squad leaders perspective.. would I rather take a guy that can heal (which can be accomplished without a medic pretty easily too) and 'save tickets' or some other kit with much more firepower or other usefull things. (such as ammo, mines etc)

As for the op... people should realize to run behind you after you revive them. If they don't.. well I just laugh at them while they bleed to death alone in some corner.

I couldn't help but laugh at that. As a frequent medic, I see this a lot with the blue guys.

After reviving a person, they usually pop up, and I say "Follow me" via comm rose. It gets the message across, as they should be aware of the bleeding and coughing they're experiencing, and follow me to cover.

Indeed. If you got shot somewhere, that means one thing. It is -NOT- safe there. So you shouldn't expect the medic to stay there. I usually leg it to a safe corner, then cover the medic while he does his job.

Then again, maybe it would add a better medic feel if the person were revived in the "Oh sh*t my screen is on acid and black and I cant see ANYTHING" state of health. That way, you dont simply get "rezzed" and run off to a safe spot.. this way, the medic would have to perform a little bit of actual aid after reviving before you can just get up and effectively run...?

Just thought of that... I like that....

sorry, that was offtopic. I could go for something other than "Clear" as its funny and cool, but not really needed... but theres already follow me... but if you could add a more medical phrase so its more obvious the medic is saying "Follow me for health or die" then go for it, and take away "clear." sorry afterdune ;P

nah, I'm pretty sure irl a medic wouldn't stay in the middle of the street to 'perform a little bit of actual aid' if he was being shot at. It would be suicide. He would probably just grab the other dude and pull him to cover. This obviously isn't possible on this lovely engine so I think the current system works best.
