What a great idea.
Have a day when we can test out some of the less known custom maps out there. Someone could just post the links to download them before gametime. I think it would be good for mapmakers to get some fresh ideas for maps and learn what things we like and don't like about them. Plus it gives us an excuse to advertise the event on some other forums, possibly generating more downlaods of the mod~~~~~ Just an idea, had to write it down before I forgot. P.S. - I am only good at coming up with ideas, even though I do not have the means to organize them!! |

Well, the idea may be good, but I'm not sure you would get enough people to download... I mean, people don't usually download a lot of (to them) unproven maps. Maybe you should add a poll to ask people wether they would be prepared to download for such a test.

I think the point here is to get some maps under attention that might be suitable for a map-pack but aren't well-known enough to have received much criticism/comments. Am I right Martini?

I think it would be a cool idea, but I think that you should just pick a couple of maps and put them in a map pack instead of having to download each one separately.

Yeah, because downloading from different sources and having to open a new download every time can be rather annoying. It should be a sort of 'test map-pack'.

I don't care how it's done as long as it's done. If I have to play anymore Kubra Dam, Fushe Pass, etc... on Gloryhoundz, I'm going to die. PRMM desperately needs maps specialized for it's gameplay. The stock maps just aren't cutting it.
