Nothing to do with the runway? You must like to argue or some thing? Every aspect the jet interacts with has to do with every thing.
Rhino hinted that they might even make the typhoon tougher to fly.

I'd be in favor of outfitting two more bombs to all jets.

Basically, the loadout would end up as:

4 close range missiles.
2 radar missiles
4 500 lbs Paveways

In essence, they can bomb, and can be a bomb truck of sorts, and still be useful after air superiority is gained.

You could pummel bunkers and the like, but you are still not very effective.

I don't think weapon load out is a big debatable issue here. However, it should raise more concerns that the jets in PR handle a big like jumbo 747s. lol

And how about munitions that do not need a laser target?
