ok i know no1 thinks the us can be invaded, but i love the idea. Maybe an american revolution. A new political party stages a coo and takes partial power of, one of the branches of the military. hehe Some freedom fighters who fight against the oppressors. they would be an ifeior force but could enlist the help of other countries who are tired of being tread on. Every1 hates us, and if they all jumped us at the same time it would be hell. Especially if there were usa sympathizers who gained acces to usa miltary machinery. who hates us, everyone we ever traded with, invaded, bombed, sanctiond, or otherwise assualted. plus half of the usa is devided on several subjects people have already shown their willingness to die for the way they think the usa should be.

wow i should lay off the drugs...jk, no 1 call the fbi, its just an idea!

ok, heres an idea i posted in the old forums. i was wonderinjg how jungle warfare could be implemented into the mod and came up swith trhis,
In The tiny state of brunei anti royalist guerillas , unuasaly well equiped and trained, start a campaign to overthrow the sultan. 2 days later the sultan is shot dead by anti royalists who sees control of beirut city and capture all british troops ther. the british prime minister accuses china of supplying the terroristts to further their interests in south east asia. and the next day their suspicions are proved as the newly named peoples government of Brunei announces that for the "protection" of the new government chinese troops are to move into beirut. It soon becomes clear that the new government is a puppet of bejing aschinese troops poor into brunei. the chinese then storm across the borders into malaysia and indonesia. The uk immediatly declares war ion china, quickly followed by australia (an oppurtunity to put the aussiez in). the us sends air units and the 1st marine division to assist. the next day coalition ships bombard areas of the occupied malaysian coast as coalition forces land in indonisia and begin moving towards the chinese......
i would really like to see this as it would allow amphibious landings, urban maps and fighting in dense jungle. theres something for every pody . sorry the post is solong

Many people are mentioning the invasion of the US - it would definetely be a new & fairly original idea, so how about:

Following Russia's temporary stopping of gas supplies into Ukraine due to the Ukranians not agreeing to pay 4X the former amount - Russia makes a temporary deal and agrees to a compramise (okay, now here's where things change to fiction )

Russia once again raises the price of natural recources being exported, and Europe refuses to pay these higher prices. Russia cuts ALL supply lines to the West - and hostilities rise from there.

Russia forms an alliegence with China, who take advantage of the newfound support and invade Taiwan. The United States react to this, sending it's troops to the region. The United States persuade Canada, Europe etc to join in before it's too late.

Russia & China invade North America via Alaska (woo - snow maps, forests etc etc), and attempt a storm campaign southwards into the United States from there...

How about something on those lines?

This would open up fronts & theatres of war more or less accross the Globe.

vs

USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Ukraine, Europe in general

a ww3 scenario basically. maybe

In 2006 with the MEC haven now rebuilt their Army and politically and Military linked up with the Chinese in return for Oil - the MEC send Insurgents across to the UK. For the next 2 years a detailed picture is drawn up on the composition of the UK, their strengths, weaknesses etc etc.

In 2008 with the backing of the Chinese they decide to invade the UK sending a small lightly armed Force in. The UK react with a Highly mobile Force. (Great Infantry Maps)

The US decide to intervene 6 months later when reports suggest that the MEC are sending a large taskforce to the UK, with the chinese supporting.

The US also decide to invade China when in 2009 they themselves start strategic bombing over the US. At the same time a small SF unit is deployed to the MEC form both the UK and US to try to break down the resupply and communication systems.




Just a quick idea - but it gives a great setting for some Infantry maps ...... who has used the UK in a map before??

Potential for some great maps here

1. Scotland - Mountains and Snow
2. Coastlines throughout, for beach assaults etc
3. European style woods
4. Big cities
5. Motorway main routes to seize
6. Ireland as a "staging post"
7. Plenty of other small islands of the coastlines for "wake" type maps?
8. Main Bases to attack (USAF Bases included?)

You then have the potential for some maps around china, and then some others in a desert enviroment within the plot.

Plenty of options here ........ and Unique???

I think all these US and UK invasion ideas are very original but in a mod going for authenticity I don't see it happening. Maybe if the Chinese place tropps in South America and start raising hell there you have a chance for some southern US fighting. But nearly all of these land features can be found in Asia already.

The MEC could very easily be a loose confederation of Syria, Egypt, Iran and other "Axis of Up-To-No-Good" Middle Eastern countries who unite to invade and squelch a newly-formed Iraqi democratic state with support by Sunni independants and Saudi militants. Strangling the export of oil from the Middle East and openly calling for Muslims around the world to commit terrorist acts against Western countries, they create a formidable force of regular front-line troops and auxillary jihaddists as home guard against U.S. counter-offensives.

With the U.N. in disarray from feuding between a U.S./U.K.-led pro-war organization and "pro-peace" European nations hoping to avoid terrorism inside their borders by the large numbers of disaffected Muslim immigrants (who caused the recent Paris riots among other things), North Korea senses an opening and launches its invasion of South Korea. China then launches its long-kept plans of restoring Taiwan and the Russian Far East to Chinese control, seeking dominance of East Asian shipping.

How's that for a war scenario?

I really don't think that's in the cards. They didn't get along even when both were communist.
