Default Temporary RP

Couldn't find anything on this line:

Right now a squad can drop an RP a few hundered meters away from the front and have it there safely, since few would go looking for it that far and it would take time. So my suggestion is to either limit the time the RP can be used (simulating it being compromised by "imaginary" scouts) or a limited spawn number if that's doable (simulating a limited stash of weapons). The time is simple, but then again it can dissapear before you use it if you stay alive too long... As for the limited spawn number: same code as the tickets are counted? A spawn at that point takes a ticket from that RP and when it reaches 0 it dissapears.

Yes I know the map is old, but that doesn't really matter now does it?

well that really isnt real. that means all RPs get discovered no matter how good they are hidden. Also i dont think its possible to limit the number of spawns.

Came prepared for that thought that an RP can be found easily, but if it can't be done then i guess there is no need to disscuss this any further. Just figured that the spawn counter used in tickets could be used here (noted that it's the spawn that decreases the ticket count but not the death, couse in one round we had one last spawn point and 1 ticket against 15 or so and we won though 3 of ours died (neither respawned))

What is the big problem with rallypoints these random people keep talking about? The only reason it would be a problem is if your a lone wolf and not in a squad. It already requires you to be 100M away from the flag, have 3 squad members right next to you, and if it is not well hidden, it will be found by the loud as hell sound it emits.

If you cannot find a rallypoint or are having a problem with it, then it is your fault. You cannot nerf rallypoints anymore without making them totally useless.

I agree with soldier above, RPs are currently quite well done. Effective use of RPs allows you to win, stupid use makes you lose. That seems like a good system to me.
