I endorse this product.

A possible solution to that would be, have the sandbags built up around the housing of the gun, where the gun would sit in a nook in the sandbags. careful positioning needed so as not to create a really irritating bug, and a balance so the gunner can see effectivly through the cracks between the gun and the sandbags.

Also, and very importantly, i hate the way the 50.cal has 100% accurasy and can snipe from very far away, so if a fiddy was added to a sandbag, (which i had disgussed about two months ago on this forum) it would need to have about 65% accurasy, and give a spray effect. For that matter, all MGs including coaxials should have their accurasy and zoomed accurasy relooked.

Alternativly, have no sandbag mounted gun, but modify the sandbags so the automatic rifleman has an easier time shooting through them. I use a GPMG for the irish and we're trained to fire "through" cover rather than "stick your neck out" or peek around cover. All of that street fighting is suiside. We can maintain a good gamplay even if the GPMG is extremely well covered.

Very cool indeed. It would make assaulting a fixed MG nest something that you'd have to do with more care than just firing at the MG and knowing he can't hit you. It would help make a built up on the spot defense closer to reality where you really would set up defenses wherever you were and would try to have them inconspicuous and covering certain angles.

Imagine a static defense where one or two guys are manning the MG 'nest' while the SL and the rest of the squad move out to flank the attackers. The SL could use markers to direct the nest's fire and it could make defending more interesting and fun. I mean really. People will want to stay with a mounted MG more than just a drab sandbag. Plus if you can add a second MG to the mix while in defense only then you could create interlocking fire points from one or more positions with your other Support gun thats actually issued to the soldier.

Since you can't actually dig into the ground like a real soldier this would be a very good alternative for fortifying a position. Sandbags as it is aren't that good for fighting since you get no advantage other than basically building yourself a new wall.

If you had sandbags with both mounted guns in slots and also just empty slots you could create a good spot to snipe from in the defense or have it so that you can place normal riflemen with cover but the ability to fire through it as well.

More interesting stuff for the defense would help in the long run I figure.

How about a 'super bunker', one per map, with a ladder to the roof (the same floorplan as the current bunker) and sandbag walls along the edge of the roof, with 4 mounted mgs, one on each side, and perhaps a TOW in the middle? If not a roof then a simple wooden board on stilts, so at least men on top wouldn't be silhouetted Maybe spawning both trucks and jeeps? Not only would it provide a focal point for the team, but it would give the commander essentially an HQ, with solid defenses and a good line of sight from the top. Also the ladder should be from inside the bunker, making it very hard for an enemy to spawn camp it, and pin people inside.

Nope, usually MG isn't a part of the vehicle, it's a seperate object.

it is a child object and the question is, if you could make it the child of a sandbag
