Guard dogs
A little bit crazy but,
how about a dog that could smell enemys like the UAV in vbf2 and spott the enemy by barking at them. He would be very fast with much stamina. He could bite enemys with instant LSD effect but only down to 25%. Let them bleed to death. Maybe some AI dogs for the mainbase and a pick up kit. When you wan't to pick up another you would instantly die like the civilian. Would be much animation work but hey, it's only a suggestion.
