Default Choosing your toys

After Playing EOD for a little bit something dawned on me. PR should include Different weapon options for each kit. For Example, Engineers could choose between Shotgun or a Rifle on any map. Or Spec ops Could either take an M4 or a maybe an SMG.

I would just like to see more options. The More weapons the better! and having some choices of what weapon you want to carry might be kinda neet. Maybe Give medics and M4 as an option opposed to just having an M16.

It could just use the same weapon selecting system as Vanilla. I feel this would just make the mod feel more customizable to each player.

Just a thought that didn't seem to far out there :P

Ah, I have to disagree there. I believe a slight kit variation would spice up the game. Something simple, like giving the medic and option of an M16 or a MP5, could change their role and therefore game experience greatly. With the M16, they are best suited to midrange combat, where as with the MP5, the medic would be valuable in close combat.

I think that everything is fine the way they are right now, it kinda even things out a bit. The only thing that I would change is the Squad Leaders Officer kit gun...a M4 or MP5 would be great.

*sigh*

You're not gonna find Marine NCO's or Corpsmen carrying around MP5's or CAR-15's.

Or maybe an M16 w/ Red dot Reflex Sight for SL. All depends on what the Devs want and have time to work on.

Looked up the MP5, says it is used in Marines, doesn't mention specific use though.

Did that post have any purpose? Is there something unrealistic about Reflex Sights? Perhaps you can elaborate...

He was probably referring to the MP5.
