I think all classes that dont have scopes should be given binocs... this way if you took of the scoreboard, it would be easier to confirm kills.
And confirming kills would be a good gameplay habit for people to have to get in to... shoot a bit, take out your binocs, check, repeat if necesary. |

well if you leave score, people will just check for score raises instead of kills

In reality the average foot soldier does not have binocs to check if someone is dead.

When playing as a sniper, it's easy to track kills using the scoreboard but that doesn't matter much. Most people don't have time to check the score board when in the heat of battle and being shot at.

binocs can be bought for $20 .. if they are not issued them, many troops buy their own.

Maybe regular soldiers could have crappier less zoom binocs? And without an aiming point like the SOFLAM which I use to aim my M4 for hilarious long range kills.

Simple, learn the usefulness of the anti-personnel rifleman, and there you go.. Binocs.

Or why don't you just use the jack of all trades kit. Spec Ops. It has *cue the music*
Knife - Backup for a Pistol - Backup for a Carbine - Ultimate killing machine with 0 recoil Grenades - When a Knife, Pistol and 0 recoil carbine just isn't enough SLAM - When a knife, pistol, carbine and grenades didn't destroy that pesky vehicle, SLAM will do the job. You even get 2 (yes, TWO!), the perfect number needed to blow up even the strongest of tanks for some reason SOFLAM - For when you need to plan your killing rampage from far away and when you need to confirm your M4 700m kills. Even though you know you got the kill becuase he went flying another 400m after that laser beam hit him head on. |
