Right now, I am in the final stages of bug fixing. Release day, all depends on how much I can get done around my real life work. So far, things are looking really good for sometime within the next 10 to 15 days from now. I don't think I can get it ready this week, but I do not expect it to be more then 15 days.
When I get within a few days of thinking this animal can go back out into the Jungle. I will be posting up information regarding files and mirrors. I do not want to set a hard day yet, just because I am not sure that I can do that, given I am the only one compiling the build and my real life job, sometimes can hammer me to where I am not at home, but traveling for a few days at a time. In anycase, barring any real big issues. We should be ready soon. |

Don't worry Joker, I won't until I am ready. I haven't spent the better part of a year redoing 80% of the mod or more, to drop the ball on the last 10% or so of it.
I just spent the last two days, working on new drop kits and textures for some of the teams. No more dropped weapons, but actual kit mesh, like backpacks, hats and the like. It just didn't look good to shoot a medic with an M16 and see a GreaseGun lying there instead. The kits really needed to be "generic" to a degree so that when someone had an unlock weapon. It didn't mess with things. With all the teams now and weapons choices. The drop kits were out-dated. On top of that, all my kits were wrong for the French and VietMinh as the drop kits were modern day weapons, not period 40's and 50's. Therefore, I have them all dropping packs now instead, irregardless of the weapon carried, so it is all good now. I just have to finish up the ARVN and Special forces. (If I can find the kit scenes.. Ack!) Other than the above and doing some last minute map stuff, I am just about done with this round of the great bug hunt for this build. The next build I compile should be the release build, barring any issues. Therefore, I will keep you guys posted. Trahn |

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

i had this mod and loved it but it had almost no players so i uninstalled it.
might try it with the 2.0 release. i remember that the soundtrack was epic. |
