BGF Update #44

Welcome to the 44th update of Battlegroup Frontlines! This week we bring you some great news concerning the release of BGF...we are currently waiting only for our maps to pass the testing stages for our release! That's right, the mod is currently in it's final RC build, and we are waiting for our mappers to finish up so we can get this mod into your hands! So sit tight, because the wait is almost over!

For our media update this week, we bring you some ingame shots of our Polikarpov I-16, shown as a render a few updates ago. It has been ingame for some time now, giving the Luftwaffe somewhat of a hard time over the skies of Russia. This nimble little plane wasn't much of a match for the BF109 in 1941, but the Soviets who flew it pushed this plane to it's limits and scored some victories over the Messerschmitt. It was still the most numerous fighter in the VVS at this time, and at least half of all the I-16's produced would survive until 1943 when they were finally replaced.
