Hello, and welcome to the 42nd update of the Battlegroup Frontlines mod! As stated last week, testing on out release candidate build has gone very well, and a second RC build is being compiled now for further testing, so we hope to have our mod to you as soon as all major issues are worked out!

As we continue to work on the mod for future releases, we are also looking to expand our team. We are in need of mappers, and someone familar with website management. If you are experienced in either of these areas, and wish to join a professional, experienced mod team, then give us a shout! We would also like to take this opportunity to show our gratitude to our fellow members of Black Sands Studio, and thank some of those members for work they have done on BGF. SatNav and HackerX4 have recently donated several animations for our handweapons, and [R-DEV]sofad from the PR mod has been an enormous help with fixing our sound issues for almost everything. Our hats off to these guys, for their much needed help...that`s what BSS is all about!

On to our update. This week, we show you another incarnation of the Ilyushin Il-2 "Shturmovik", this time in single-seater version. It has almost the same attack capabilities as it`s 2-seater brother, minus 2 unguided missles. So for those of you brave enough to take on the Luftwaffe pilots alone, this one is for you!

Also this week, we show a vehicle used in collaboration with the BF:Korea mod...the 1926 Buick. For those Soviets that want to reach the battlefield in style, we offer the latest in comfort from the Buick Corporation. Complete with a 6-cylinder engine, scuff plates, cigarette lighter, heater, clock, smoking cases, shock absorbers and a vanity case, for only $1125! During the 1926 model year, Buick set a sales record with 266,753 units being sold, and we offer you one of those classic vehicles here...
