Post Battlegroup Frontlines - A little gift from Stalin

Hello again, and welcome to update #40 of the Battlegroup Frontlines mod! This week we have some member information to update you on, as well as a very important addition to our battlefield.

We would like you to join us in welcoming Mr_Syn and Vasko98 to the BGF team as modelers. Both have started off on a very good foot here, and you will be seeing some great things from them in our coming news updates!

We have also added a feature to our website that was voted on in a poll a few weeks back. You can now view which country our developers hail from in their profile. The community asked for this feature, and we have delivered! Watch our main site for more polls in the future, and let us know what you want to see!

On to our content update! Today, we give you the 76.2mm Divisional gun, Model 1942, more commonly known as the ZiS-3. The ZiS-3 was a very successful gun, and many give it a place as one of the best artillery pieces of World War II. It is certainly a welcome addition to BGF...our testers have been getting pummeled for weeks by German armor with no way to counter them! Seth Soldier and Tomcraft answered their pleas with this beautiful gun, and takiwa brought it ingame. Now they have a very powerful 76.2mm gun that can knock out any German light and medium tank at a distance, while most heavy tanks can be dealt with at close range.

We have also added ammunition crates and 76.2mm shells, modeled and textured by takiwa, for this monster...what use would it be without them?

Over 103,000 of these guns were produced during the course of the War, and it is a proud addition to the BGF mod! We hope you enjoy it! If you want to learn more about BGF, be sure to visit our website!
