CoH: Modern Combat Shoutcast competition winners

A photo finish decided the winner of our first CoH: Modern Combat shoutcast competition!

After an expansion of our voting period due to problem with our webserver, the last week was exciting! Tommy952 & FatalSaint were breathing down Inuki‘s neck, always only a few percent behind in the community poll which decided the winner of the competition. A few times it looked like favour would switch sides, but in the end Inuki won with 63 votes against 57 for Tommy952 & FatalSaint.

So, Inuki takes home the 50$ prizemoney and bragging rights to be the most famous CoH: Modern Combat shoutcaster at this time! Congratulations!

But, the quality was high. Not only the winning shoutcast was extremely entertaining, but also the runner ups showed high quality standards. Darkfox101‘s shoutcast with only 5 votes was outmatched by the other two, but this doesnt reflect the quality of this piece of work at all! The CoH: Modern Combat team recommands everyone who hasn’t done so, yet, to have a look at all competitors. They are surely a blast!

Now that this chapter is over, watch out for other exciting CoH: Modern Combat events in the future! Not far away is the release of patch 1.006, which will include some major changes to address balance issues that have come to light in the recent 1vs1 tournament! So, keep your eyes peeled for updates!
