Ultimate Littlebird Ramiel strategy

Heres a stradegy that worked for me last night on ramiel for a total of 1 hour 35 minute flight time. With 18 kills 0 deaths. Just patroling the desert and taking out enemy vehicles.

This strat only works if your comp has maxed out graphics and view distance. Because ramiel has no fog/blurry vision at long distances. It is possible to identify targets from far away.

Start the round, hop in LB , take off to 300 altitude. Now the city of ramiel is surrounded by a desert. It is easy to identify targets in. In particular enemy cars/jeeps/bikes. It is also easy to see enemy insurgents mining the bridges that lead to US main.

When you are up at 300 altitude and you find a target. You should imdeiatly check the area around target for incoming technicals before you begin your assault dive on target.

Your atack dive on target should be a 90 degree angle. Espicially on technicals because they wont be able to see you. Dive on your target and let your mini guns tear them to shreds. When mission is complete RTB to main for ammo, rinse & repeat.

For an hour and 30 minutes i patroled the desert around the city of ramiel and got 18 kills , which included 6 technicals, 2 bombcars , and 6 insurgents planting mines/ieds on the bridges leading to main.

Not meaning to sound like a dick, but a 90 degree attack angle? I dont think that would be advisable in any aircraft, seeing that at 300m altitude your not exactly to far from the ground, especially at the kind of airspeed you would have in that situation. Maybe it worked for you, I guess it did. Are you flying with a joystick or mouse?

It is the best/only way to fly on ramiel.

If you make a 90 degree dive and lower your speed you got like 5/10 sec to shoot, wich is usually more then enough.

Nice strat! All you need besides the beefy card and ram is a nice laser mouse! The mouse makes flying little birds easy lol

Thank you for to the 90 degree dive tactic. I tried it out on a training server and it is suprisingly easy to get a good amount of fire on a single concentrated spot.

Sounds good, but like many, even though my computer specs should run PR maxxed out, the moment I max out with full anti alaising on - CTD's every map.

Possibly the only annoying thing about PR, I keep meaning to take my PC to a shop with the order to make it run maxxed out, but even then will it?

Does anyone get the non-realism of a 90 degree attack angle in a helicopter? A 90 degree angle means you are heading straight down towards the ground. In real life, you would get kicked out of the army for pulling shit like that. If you survived. It may work for you, in this game, but the realism isnt there. Also are you using joystick or mouse.

thats all that matters, 90% of the stuff we do isnt realistic in game but players will also try use the best tactic, how ever 'unrealistic' it is (prone diving for example).

Yeah I agree with that, but when I said it might work for you, I meant as an individual, like maybe if your flying with the keyboard/mouse setup or joystick. I wont go into the keyboard vs. joystick argument here but I do fly with a joystick, which might prevent the more outlandish maneuvers.
