oo that sounds good, yeh i love the throttle stick too! -- the mouse is great for those percise movements, but... its hard for doing continuous pitching... like turning in a cirlce while flying forward, it makes me 'stroke the mouse pad' with the mouse.

Nothin' beats a good keyboard. I've borrowed joysticks from friends and tried to fly with my mouse, still nothing more responsive than my g15 gen1 keyboard. So much more precise than the other options, my only complaint is the lack of throttle, but even still, the way PR aircraft work, 100% all the time works just fine unless you're landing.

"Progress" and "Balance"

Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.

You said the keyboard was more accurate? Ive tried many times with keyboard or mouse but it sucks. It may be more responsive but it its a hell of a lot less accurate. Maybe its your joystick? Also in a realism based game you are using a keyboard, that kinda a cheater way to do it. Maybe you learned with a keyboard so thats what your used to, but for me I fly simulators in Aviation Class so joystick is all I use. Plus panning the mouse around gets really annoying.

Thanks guys,

Yeh i only use the joystick because i fly ALOT of FSX and aviation sims, BUT in vanilla bf2 i CANNOT fly a helo with a joystick, its so... needy of mouse -- but because of PR's physics joystick is the way to go for me.

I use a mouse with extremely high-sensitivity. Flying with a joystick requires too much input.

Yeah but its way less realistic and kinda a cheap way of controling a helicopter. I mean, people fly with mouse on Grand Theft Auto, you would think in a realism based game like PR people would fly with a joystick...
