Parachute: Guide
Parachuting can be a great way to gain ground on the enemy very fast. It is also a great way to get behind the enemy without them knowing. But when parachuting there are a few things to remember:
1: Make sure you make a squad with the name "Parachutes", "Paratroops" or somthing along the lines of that 2: Make sure you have at least 4 people in the squad... 3: You must make sure your helicopter pilot is in your squad and make sure he is not going to jump out 4: squad should have: 1 heli-pilot 1 medic 4 pilots 5: never jump out of a moving chopper as this will kill you 6: wait for the pilots "go go go" dont trust anyone else to say it. when you hear the "go go go" everyone should jump out including the medic. he will hit the floor and die pilots will land near him and take his kit and heal him. 7: tell the pilot how high you want to go ( 450-500ft average ) 8: look at your map and check where you are in relation to your destination, always make sure the co-pilot has opened the back of the chopper because you need to be able to run out. 9: jump out and free fall towards your destination 10: dont pull your as soon as you see the ground, pull it when it feels right 11: dont leave it too late to pull the parachute 12: check the area below for enemys and if your dropping to a cache look for it while your falling. 13: when you have landed look for kits because pistols dont do the buisness. hope this has helped and hope you all have fun jumping out of helicopters!! |

An even better option would be to use 2 squads. The more pistols on a target the better. As you kill Opfor players, you can pickup their kits. Kill an officer and you are really in business cause you can set a rally and be persistent with the attack.
That would be one bad ass back field ambush for sure. Would like to see a battlefield recorder on that for a good laugh Opfor= Opposing Force. R |

But from 500 fett it takes like 5 mins to land and the medics kit will be gone..

it is a bit like exploiting atm... though with the use of Paratroopers in Afghan I think we should see something coming back
