Teamwork in aircraft

A big mistake many people make is making air only squads. By doing that, you're being an arse to all the other people, and you're halving your effectiveness, mainly with CAS aircraft.
CAS aircraft need their team mates. The best way to find a ground target is by getting help requests by pinned down team mates. These folks are infantry usually, and they can't take the tanks on their own. By being in an infantry squad, you've got constant communication with some of your mates on the ground.
If they have mics, they can PERFECTLY describe the position of a tank and you can find them with ease and kill them and actually HELP your team win the fight rather than flying circles above everyone. If you're not in a regular squad, you don't have the communication needed to hit where it counts. You won't know what to attack, or even where to find a target.

Please fellow pilots, communicate more with the ground troops. Commanders aren't enough, and letting 4 or 5 squad mates push forward WILL make a difference in the battle.

IRL when a squad calls in CAS do they get to talk directly with the pilots? (i don't know, just curious )

I agree that ingame it is often better for the CAS to be in the same squad with the infantry to communicate better, but it does remove squaddies from the ground that can talk with each other and decreases the commander's ability to direct assets, but your way is obviously better if the commander is a little slow/has alot on his plate.

Respect the R-Staff, they are pretty...pretty badass
so, if you don't like PR, get a refund

Yes, I agree that you get some advantages if you can get info from a ground squad. But, for your information, me and my gunner are constantly communicating with each other, so if we join an infantry squad we'll probably won't even have time to listen to their conversation (wich will interfear with our own). So, most of the time, we just make a locked 2-man "Cobra" squad. And our chopper usually stays alive for a pretty long time.

Also, it's very effective when people are requesting heli support via commander or by using team chat.

Being in an infantry squad will have it's advantages but it's probably better to be a squad leader if your using cas because then you can directly talk to the comander and you can be more helpful because the CO can tell you where you need to go rather than your SL asking the CO then relaying it to you but if you are in the inf. squad ad SL then you can't set RPs for your squad so I think it's better to have a squad for air assets.

Me and my mate allways have our own squads, simply becuse I am the battlemanager for the gunship, while he takes care of the comunication and piloting.
Beeing in an infantry squad is just not working out, we have a near constant flow of information seeings as we both need to keep us uppdated on the latest developments and sutch..

The infantry have to go tru proper channels.. Something thats nearly impossible in PR these days, thats public play btw..,
