Problem with jets, I can't take off?
Okay, so typically I'm a fairly good pilot, but the new controls for the jets seem INSANE.
I have my throttle and stick and have never had problems learning any jets. However, I find that I can't seem to drive onto the runway without my jet flipping. Even trying to control the jet with very very slow speeds, I can't seem to get on the runway properly. The jet will do insane flips and twirls and then explodes. Anyone know how to do it? Maybe post a little video? I know how to fly and take off, but I can't seem to drive from the hanger to the take off strip safely. |

hey m8, your not supposed to have any throttle on, after the plane warms up, move your joy stick forward, and that should help.

You're trying to go up a 90 degree slope. Try the ramp.

And this aint the spot to post this. Try the General Disscusion. But you on the Chinese team takeoff from the southern strip. Its the 1 with no trees just open ground to the east.

Okay first of all it does not matter wha tdirection you take off from, and this is why: If you follow my instrucions correctly you wont need all of the runway. When you get in the jet pull the throttle back so its at 0% then fush forward to go forward back to go back etc... Then once you have lined up on the runway of your choice, pull back and press C so you can look behind you. Keep going backwards until you are near the edge of falling off, adjust till you are centered and ready for take off. After that dont move the joystick but full throttle until you begin to move. Once you begind to move GUN IT! full throttle all the way, try your best to stay on the runway at the speed you are accelerating. Pull up toward the middle of the runway and you will ALWAYS make it past the tree line and safely in the air. -all the best

Thanks guys. Got it.
Just seems really odd having to push the stick forward to taxi, but whatever works. |
