A gunners guide to Pilots

This guide contains swearing. You have been warned.

Heya, This is to all Pilots out there.
I am, as some of you know, considerd to be a good gunner, not that Im soo sure about it myself

Onto other matters, I have recently given upp flying choppers without somone I know, becuse soo frigging few pilots out there fly for the gunner.
--------------------------------

Your a pilot, in the gunship.
Right, answer these few questions:
1. What is your job?,
A: To pwn some friggin nooobs!
B: To show of my 1337 skillzz!
C: To survive, and to do whatever I have to in order to do so.

2. Do you got voip?
A: No VOIP is for fags/noobs/furries
B: Yes, but I dont use it, cuse music is better than listening to furfags.
C: Yes, I cant live without it.

3. You spot a target, What do you do?
A: You go straight at it, fireing off all 32 rockets within the first few moments of visual contact, hoping your 1337 skills will allow you to hit it.
B: You scream into voip "OMFG CHOPPER, SHOOOT IT!" and in the prosses you crash into the ground
C: You go "Chopper, Comming to a lineupp, Fox 1 when ready" and try and keep yourself above the cocksucker.

4. The Radar-Alert goes BEEP BEEP BEEP! WHAT DO YOU DOO?!?!
A: You drop flares, thinking that your 1337 skillz are gonna save yo ass like in vbf2
B: You imidiately turn, forget to pop flares, and yell at your gunner that he shoud have killed that motherf******!
C: You pop flares, take evasive action while asking your gunner for a sit-rep.

5. Who is the squadleader
A: Me cuse im 1337!
B: Some random dude
C: My gunner!
------------------------
If you have all C`s here, go and pat yourself on the back, your a good pilot in my eyes.. Atleast if you get the message of "Requestiing 1-80 negative popupp!" Then your a good chap!

If not, Let me give you a few things you shoud listen to.
1.
Flying:
You DO NOT FLY FOR YOURSELF, OR YOUR TEAM!.. If you think you do, pleace, go put your head into a barrel of acid!
----
You fly for your gunner, becuse he is the one who can do the most damage, he is also the one who can talk with the commander, while doing his job.
However, your primary consern is the safety of the bird(Chopper), soo if your gunner wants you to do something crazy, you can do it, but you can also just say "negative, To hot"
----------
Lineupp:
This is important, Know where the native sights for the Tv missile IS
With the Cobra its just where your hydras go, a bit bellow it, but on the same angle.
You need to aim towards the target, this makes the gunners job a hell-a-lot simpler, and you will be more effective this way, as you will be able to hit the cokcsuckers faster, and more accurate!
The Havok got a bit of an angle on it, think about 2 cm bellow your hydra sight, thats the angle on the TV missiles..
------------------
Snapshot:
This is a good skill to master, you use it in a hot enviroment, or when you have overshot the target..
You point your nose towards the target for a moment, no longer. Just soo that the gunner get a wery small window..
DO NOT do this if you are low, as chanses are, you will hit the ground..
And hitting the ground is BAD!
---------------------
Plan of attack and comunication:
This is the gunners job, aswell as yours.
The gunner shoud keep himself up to date with the battle enviroment, but soo shoud you..
You do not want to run into an area thats hotter than a finnish sauna!

You shoud allways stride to comunicate with your gunner, he have some serious firepower, aswell as the tools to spot a target, and hit it long range.
Whenever he spots something, you need to react towards it..
-----------------------
The Radar alarm.
Whenever this goes off, make sure its not a hostile chopper, If it is, you have to get above that sucker.. If your in a havok, this usualy means bye bye if the cocksuckers in that cobra know what they are doing.
If not, well you can win, and its no better feeling that to down that cobra with the Havok cannon!

However, if its a Ground based weapon, get the fuck away!
Those missiles kill you, and that cannon they got will rip you a new one faster than you can say "Suprice Butsmex!"
Pop flares, hit the low altitude, and get behind whatever cover you have!.

In most cases the gunner wil fire off a TV once the alam goes off, soo he might be able to take it out, but those missiles that thing have fired off are not gonna go away just becuse the one who fired them are dead..
-----------------------
The 1st rule of Gunner club:

DONT TRUST ANYONE WHO GETS IN THE PILOT SEAT

End of the gudide for now, will add more later
Looking forward for replies..

Fox 1/2/3 are only used for air-to-air guided missiles, not unguided air-to-ground rockets.

1 for semi-active radar guided, 2 for IR, 3 for active radar.

I know I know..
But its simpler to say Fox 1 than some other things..
Altho you coud say, "Missile away"
But I prefer fox 1, as that is short and fast.

Another thing that helps immensely, is flying high (300-350m). It usually gives the height advantage over other choppers, and makes you a smaller target for ground threats.
