This post is inspired by another located at Tactical Gamer in the Bf2 Forums.
Sometimes, taking in a whole guide of information can be hard, as it's hundreds and even thousands of words, all of which you would have to keep in mind when you are attempting to apply the guide in-game. In this post, you post tips which take only a minute or so, but are nevertheless quite useful in-game for vehicles in PR only. These can be from light vehicles like the Technical or Landrover all the way up to heavy tanks like the Abrams and Challenger. I'll get it started. *When approaching ridges as a driver in an armoured vehicle, take the time to hop out and spot for any possible threats over the ridge, this way you can avoid coming over the ridge with no clue if a TOW missile is about to come your way. |

If you don't manage to kill an insurgent, don't go after him, he'll IED you.
If you don't manage to kill an insurgent, don't stay in the same place, he'll molotov you. |

pretty simple one:
Don't abandon vehicles in the field, or else everyone gets p*ssed off with you |

First tip:
When driving a tank over rough terrain where distance vision is low and vehicle noise is high, it's a good idea for the driver to occasionally switch to the .50 cal on to of the turret (F3 position). This gives two advantages to a two-man tank crew: greater distance view than the driver periscope and secondly, a silent tank so that you can listen for closeby enemy vehicles or small arms fire. This is useful when hunting other tanks or APCs in the mountainous areas on Kashan Desert. Second tip; Tank gunners: be considerate to your fellow driver. If, as a gunner, you feel compelled to briefly leave the tank (to share your med patch for example) then make sure your turret/ gun is facing forward. A quick getaway may be needed and the driver's vision may be impaired or limited until you turret is "hot"... |

- On insurgency maps, check for Explosives (Mines, IEDs, Grenade traps, etc) before actually getting the vehicle out of the base. That saves tickets!
- Before speeding off with your gunner, you should check if there are any friendlies looking for a ride Those are Spartan's cheap-as-crap instructions! More next time |

Gunner: If you are a gunner create a codeword with your driver that you can say when you are trying to shoot but cant lower the gun enough because the tank is tilting upwards. Then the driver will know and try to find some better ground. Ive been killed alot due to beginner tank drivers not understanding that you cant stand on the ridge tops like the one on kashan and shoot targets below if the tank is not tilting a bit forward. In the heat of the battle it is hard to explain why I cant shoot, especially for me who has english as second language.
Driver You should be the squadleader if possible to put 3d markers for the gunner to quickly find the enemy. Be aware that if your tank is much higher than the target or the tank is facing upwards your gunner cant lower his gun enough to shoot. |

If you know the area is safe, let the driver hop out or get on the .50 for a short time to listen for any threats. Any infantry squads will have a harder time locating the tank when the driver is not in also.

And then have to wait 30 seconds for the gun to warm up again? Use other elements of the team to find out if there are threats around you.

1 min tip :- hide your tank behind other already dead tanks as they will take the first shot not you. shoot and scoot do not sit and wait for the reload unless he has missed his shot or does not have eye's on you. | |

When driving a BRDM switch to the periscope view, it's much easier to see and you can look around.
