An APC Isn't Just an Armoured Taxi

Lots of guys use APCs simply for transport (especially on insurgency). An APC is not just a "carrier" guys it is a mobile gun platform. While armaments range from .50 to 30mm on Brad (I think) all can be used very very effectively. During insurgency, drop your squad off near a cache and then circle the area all around them scouting and being ready to support them if need be. This way if the squad catches hell you can belch fire at the enemy.

Well actually it is a transport for the troops, hence the A.rmored P.ersonnel C.arrier name While it can prove a great deal of support to the troops.

Get in a infantry squad and move arounld with them, and ask them lot of questions, pick there brain(if you can find it), and use them to scout.

Or better yet use them as a screen, Have them up front and have the apc well back providing a base of fire, they seem to last a lot longer that way.

get IED'd, RPG'd, mined? nah. on insurgency, stay out of the city as far as possible. if you absolutely positively have to get in, stay close to infantry, covering roads/alleys such that the infantry has to worry about covering one flank less. ah yeah, mumble helps alot with that
