read your thread on using a x box 360 controller .Ive used one on games espeicially flyin g
the controls are great .please note wireless versions are not to great because of lag ie time delay the only thing you must remember is the length of the cable from pc to desk etcI was thinking of buying aSaitek joystick but from some reviews ive read, somepeople have some problems with the controls after heavy use some buttons espeicially the fire button does not work,or gets broken Also the throttle on somejoysticks is directly behind thelever and that could be a problem |

Hey.. I had that problem also (exept ps3 controller) until i found this program called
"Joy2Key".. It lets you map all your keyboard buttons onto your joystick.. you can also map your mouse to the analog sticks.. I've tried it on counter strike and it works fine.. You just make the right analog into the mouse and you can have mouse-look... I even play guild wars with it You can download it from this site.. JoyToKey English Version I know it looks kinda old but it works and its awesome If you need any help on how to use it.. just ask.. hope that helps |

I tried it out a couple weeks ago, setting up joytokey for a 360 controller and PR. Once you get it setup, which take a long time. It's okay. I could handle it for stuff like squad leading, driving, flying, etc. But i would never trade my mouse for infantry.

I use an X box controller.
I use this excellent piece of software that enable you to configure the controller how YOU want. Add gamepad / joystick support to any game - Pinnacle Game Profiler Try it for free and see how you go. I couldnt do without it. |

i thought this was a good ideal, so idid it, its all right since the thing i used to map out the controls was simple, but not enough buttons, so i just plug in my controller and just use the headset for it
