I fully agree.

We have played fools road 3 times in the PR Tournament and its painfully obvious that its incredibly biased when it comes to infantry vs infantry combat. The scopes + Defibs make all the difference in the world on this basically pure infantry map where the map is decided by which teams infantry are killing the most opposed to maps such as Kashan where its the armour.

Militia can only work on maps such as Mestia where short range CQC fights dominate and all the flags are biased to the militia to even it out.

No militia on maps where long range combat is inevitable.

Then its time to alter your tactics Get closer to the enemy. I know its not that easy, but it works wonders

Not the kind of scenario I would like to see in PR... It would just turn into another Hamgyong. Not to mention that we in that case would have to introduce a Chechen/mujaheddin faction.

Although I would like to see one or two maps set in Chechnya. City-fights in Grozny sure would be something special, but it would require a lot of work (lots and lots of destroyed building statics).

I really can't agree with you. Long range combat inevitable on Fools Road? The map is perfect for ambushes from the woods (the kind of tactics the militia should use) and about all of the flags are located in places where the fighting quickly turns into CQC (Hilltop estate is the best example).

But I like the idea with making it and Mestia a Russia v. Militia maps.
