I was working on a SV-98 last week but couldnt finish it because of other project deadlines.

Im jealous, but a good kind of jealous. It really does look good, but I wish it was higher poly.

I know, but I've got several other reference pics as well, and the scope looks somewhat different in them. E.g.:

If not, maybe it should be suppressed to compensate for the lack of zoom compared to the other factions Russia will be fighting? Any thoughts on this?

suppressed would be very nice, making the sniper roles of the conflicting armies different.

Well the supressors really dont work like in the movies. If you put a supressor for a sniper rifle, it will still sound really loud. The noise would drop somewhere to a AR. Good thing that it supresses the muzzle flashes, what really is the supressors main purpose.
