i think its good that the rus faction is a "good-guy" team.
norwegians have good relations to russia and i think NATO has good relations too, so i think this is uber. uber as in uberawesome.

it was cancelled because they would have to make winter skins

wow it does look good though, surely making skins is less work then a map or maybe not I guess :/

could they just not have it as a surprise snow storm where they were caught out in the wrong camo the day after or soemthing?

Why cancel the map? Just keep it on hold for a time. The issue could be solved by 3 ways ;

1- Reskin the terrain so it's not snow.
2- Make snow skins for the RU faction.
3- Surprise snowstorm?

Is it winter or summer time? Because at summer in Siberia is about +30 +45 at winter about -25 -36.I was born in Siberia .At summer we have very nice weather ,at winter about 1,5-3 meters of snow ,in siberia we have alot of forest`s and field`s.Take a look at my map named "Operation Tornado" for some references ,to take a look at this map you must download my old mod "Mod =USOR="

I think you guys forgot, that it's not just winter camo for soldiers, you'd need winter camo for all the vehicles as well, and possibly static buildings, too.

Kinda calls for making an entirely new texture set.
