KP: Well, maybe not really plastic, but something similar (don't know the exact words to describe it in english). The point is that I want the SVD to look more like the ones the Russians use IRL and not like the MEC one from vBF2.

F1 grenades
Hm, the F1 is just a placeholder, right? I don't like the idea of Russians using old grenades from WW2. I'm pretty sure that the F1 have been replaced with the RGO (or do they still use the RGD-5?) in the Russian Army.
The F1 may still work as a placeholder though. Quote:

read the thread, no the specops are no speznas, just like the USMC SF is no SEAL, thats why they will also not get any speznas weapons. end of storry, suggested about 100 times in the russian forces forum

Speznaz means "Spetcsial'noe naznachenie" = Special Purpose [forces] = SF
Russian army has Speznaz (Army SF - Army Speznaz) and even russian police has their own speznaz (OMON). You can use Val for Specops (Army Speznaz uses it), but it's not fair, because of silencer. |

and not very sencefull, it is a short range subsonic sniper rifle and not a a carabine, and the SF will keep assault rifles/assault carabines

Val and Vintorez are different guns. Val is compact assault gun,
Vintorez is sniper rifle with optical sight. |
