And I like the idea of giving the VSS to marksmen, better then the omnipresent BF2 Dragunov. (By the way, you served in VDV? Maybe you could do the Military Advisor job for the Russian Project? ) |

Do the modern Russian Army still use the RPG-7 for taking out tanks or have they replaced it with something else ?

u should know that in iraq m1a2s was destroyed by old PG-7V rockets by striking too weak side and hull armor, and modern PG-7VR is still fataly dangerous for abrams, exept its front armor. RPG-7V is perfect weapon even for modern time. It has many ammo for different use - anti-personal, AT, [dont know how it is in english - powerfull explosion] and others.Only PR's scope from it leaves much to be desired. Also Russia use RPG-29 (the most heavy AT), RPG-27, PRG-16 (folding and more powerfull RPG-7) and several single use launchers - RPG 22 and others.
