Re: [Map]Songhua Stalemate Audit
I would really concentrate efforts away from vanilla maps and focus on all these new custom maps as we have many new and eager mappers in our community now
in order for a faction to be included in the mod it really only needs 1 map. Look at militia and insurgents, they only have 2 maps each, but the maps are high quality and alot of fun! Adding these vanilla maps will be like taking a step backwards towards vanilla mindset, so concentrating on newer, better map designs should be the goal of the community mods. If there is NOTHING else avaliable and the rest of the faction assets are 100% ready to go, then falling back on the vanilla maps as an absolute last resort, but is not an optimal choice. Regardless of the quality of everything else in the community mod, its the maps that will make or break it, as that is what really what determines the enjoyment of the gameplay. |
