Having them at the same speed is infantry is a bit vague. I use a lot of different paces when I'm a trooper.
Sprint - Speaks for itself Jog - When the above is depleted Crouch - When I'm clearing streets and alleys Prone - When I'm getting a lot of lag on Steel Thunder And generally troops use a mixture of these. From Eggman's post I got the impression that the tanks will be adjusted so they have a higher max speed, more realistic to life and to access the current slower speed you can hold the button (or if you voted for the other one, the other way round). The standard speed could do with being a bit lower, but the max speed should go up too I think. And how about this for all vehicles? |

I think due to the varying speeds of infantry, the tank slow speed should be somewhere inbetween crouching and jogging - not perfect, as it means the soldier has to get up and catch up/stop and wait for the tank. Maybe crouching speed would be better.
But either way, the tank should dictate how fast the infantry go, as they are a lot more mobile and can stop easier than the armour. |

If every land vehicle had a universal secondary speed, then it'd be much easier for the vehicles to link up. Driving solo, all the vehicles could go at their own max speeds, but when working together they can all go into jogging pace to avoid the usual burst driving that's necessary. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I'm in a convoy with my APC, I find that I'm hitting the back of the tank in front of me a lot more often than I'd like to.

I think it´s good, and shift for slow down is the best option cause if u nedd to run or need evade to repair, u can do it more fast.....
I was thinking about the airplanes and chopper´s, They need to have a controll speed to, can be made by the numbers, for example: Number 1 = mantain speed at 30% Number 2 = mantain speed at 60%. Something like this, I though about this cause i dont want to buy a joy to have this option. |

My vote goes for W normal, shift+W fast. Why? Because when using a tank effectively you got to go slow. Driving fast into unknown is suicide, especailly with tanks. If tanks current speed would be something close to walking they would be much more deadly because all the not-so-good-tankers wouldn't take them and drive straight to death. And they would actually have time to think where to go, wait for targets and even engage them at distance.
Currently, if one team has a good tanker, you need to send one squad to flank and take it down. In my opinion removing tanks respawn should be considered in some maps. But most likely, tank is the first thing to get killed at the beginning of a round. Noob hops in, drives through enemy lines and gets killed in less than a minute. |

I would love it to be toggle, but i dout that can be done...
if it could be toggled then we would get the best of both worlds |

I think it should be :
W (foward) = slow speed that matches the walk of a trooper - I dont think tank speed around in combat - Troops can use the tank as cover Shift W (Fast) = the highest speed a tank will go. - Tanker can shift it into higher gear when then need too. This seems like the best choice. Best choice really. |
