I know, DCon is Operation Desert Storm, PR is much closerto Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I am saying, that it should HAVE been in the Update:
the Army picture, along with a blury Army Soldier running and saying something like "The SandStorm is comming"

But more Project Reality/Armyish....like "Project Reality Strong"

to hint at it....where people would think about it and then say to themselves....where have I seen that star before? and than Camo, its blury but ive seent that, then they could have connected the 3 dots and said WTF! US Army is gonna be in PR!

But nevermind...... Still, in 0.8, since people make those DVD covers, this one should be an Army soldier running(replacing the 0.7 MEC) with a Harrier hovering above that.

Well, since it's public.

I can say that using the Striker is one hell of a great experiance. I was manning the 50 cal in these pics. Heh. Great vehicle in design and utility for some maps, and an absolutley solid addition to PR!

The M4 is a great weapon in-game as well. Good fire rate, accuracy, and very nice in everything I've used it in.

The new Humvee just rocks. No more DICE model. Yay!

EDIT: As has been said, this is only a partial update. Many people will be very happy when they get to play the full .08 release for more then what has been posted here. As a player who loves PR, I can assure you this.

In-game as - |TG-Irr|Shadow85

fail.exe has been executed

Flag patch are on the wrong side, it should be on the Right side not Left.

As for flag being grayed out, they do have both of them.

Also, most of the Strykers out in the combat zone are primary green not brown.

Anyway, I just got done with watching Cloverfield last night and I thought this was a cool Army National Guard scene.

Regarding the Stryker Color Scheme

Most of the pictures you will see, the Stryker has a solid Olive or Black finnish. This is due to the Stryker Bridages currently being based only out of woodland area bases; Washington, Alaska, South Korea, Germany, etc. I am sure, once the vehicle is completely integrated into the Army's service in the future (specifically the Future Combat Systems program), the camo schemes will change and vary.

It's because the newer M4 carbines and M16 rifles have an integrated RIS rail system and come with rail covers to conceal and protect both the rails and your hands from the unused rails. That's why they are so meaty looking.

Anyway, excellent update. So badass, I'm showing all my friends who play PR A.S.A.P.

Quick question, if nobody asked yet (I might have missed it) which kits will have iron sights and which will have M68 Aimpoints on the M4?

I'm guessing scoped rifleman will have ACOG, and unscoped have M68?

Stryker will hold 8 like any other APC (2 crewman and 6 passangers)

HUMMWV will hold 5 or 6 but I think most likely 6.
