Torrents often start slow but after 10 minutes they will be getting close to full speed. However, if your firewall is not setup for torrents it could remain slow.

Happy new year from Germany.

In 3 mins i've donwloaded the core file. :]
Then i'll download the maps throughout the night.

€: The file is not working. -.-
5 hours downloading for nothing...
Well then i'll have to load it via Torrent, but there its veeery slow.
@Clypp:
U said that perhaps its the firewalls fault that its so slow.
Can u send me some links, or stuff like that?

Unfortunately they are on holiday break and a File Planet mirror could not be setup. As an alternative, Wolf Servers setup multiple mirrors for us.
On Wednesday I believe File Planet staff will be back in the office and will setup a mirror then.

Happy New Year from poland,

downloading now from a mirror. My ISP is blocking the ports somehow, but I cant proove it to them, so as a conlusion my uTorrent download are almost always slow, Im not getting more than 60...

Hope the files wont be corrupted cause Ill be sentenced for a few days of torrent download.

Thank you for a new release. It the best game(mod) ever, no other game kept me to it for soooo long. All the crysis's Cod's 4 and sort can go home. Thank you again.

Something that increased my Torrents speed:
I had to forward the Torrent Port, and so the download got 40-100% faster.

If you got slow download speed you need to forward the port!

Either is you r situation this that you have a software firewall and then you need to open a communication port in this firewall to let your torrentprogram to communicate with the "outer world".

Or... you have a built in firewall in your router and the "download load communication" gets stuck in the router. You need to forward this communication through a port and too the specific pc's ip. How this is done you can read about at www.portforward.com/
